Fundraising Update for Our 2026 Japan Trip!
Excitement is building as our preparations for the 2026 Japan trip are well underway! We’ve already seen an incredible show of dedication and community support—and we’re just getting started. Spring Practice Challenge SuccessOur Spring Practice Challenge has officially wrapped up, and we are thrilled to announce that it has raised over $7,600 so far! Donations are still coming in, and we are so grateful for the ongoing support. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated—whether by putting in extra practice hours or by using your efforts to raise funds. Your commitment and enthusiasm have made a real impact. Busking at Faneuil Hall We’re happy to report that our students had two successful busking dates at Faneuil Hall in Boston! They performed beautifully for lively public audiences, sharing selections from the Suzuki repertoire and other pieces we plan to bring to Japan. We were especially excited to welcome several students who traveled from Maine to join our Massachusetts studentsfor these events—a wonderful opportunity to build community across the broader Pineland Crescendo Suzuki community. The funds raised during these performances will be added to our total soon—thank you to all who came out to support and cheer us on! July 29: Performance at Portland Sea Dogs Game We’re thrilled to announce our third major fundraiser: On July 29, students will perform the Star-Spangled Banner to open the Portland Sea Dogs baseball game in Portland, Maine!
